Yay Sue! Sounds like you had a fabulous time and Jason was his charming self. I'm so glad you got to see him again! Makes it all seem REAL, doesn't it? We will be excited to see and hear your videos.

Sue, I am so happy for you. I hope that all of us get an experience like this when he is in our "neck of the woods". Just the spontaneity of it makes it even more exciting. Good for you!! Looking forward to the pics and videos.

Hey Y'all! I was very lucky today to get to go to the Diamond Club. Someone called me at 1:45 at work and put me and a friend on the VIP list because other people that had won tickets could not go. New Bern is 2 hrs from Wilmington, where I live. My heart started pumping! My wonderful assistant manager said he'd do my computer work for me so I could leave within the hour. I called my friend and gave her a 15 minute notice that I was pulling up and honking the horn for her to run out. I didn't even get gas (practically on E when we got there). Traffic was bad of course. The doors opened at 5:00 and we got there at exactly 5:30! Jason was getting his uke ready. I went ahead and got up close. He sang OTR and then stopped to tie his dreads back. I think I filmed that part too. Then he sang Wait and Love Uncompromised. And then I heard the chord for It's Alright With Me! I spoke right up and said You're going to play It's Alright With Me! He said yes I am. I put my hand on my heart and said something I don't remember (I LOVE that song the most). And he said"This song is called It's Alright With Me and it's for the pretty lady right in front of me" SQUEEE! When it was over (I hate I had stopped the film) I said "That's rosequeen's favorite too! You know rosequeen don't you?" He said "Oh yes! I know who rosequeen is". Then he played a few chords of Halelujah and said Who knows what this song is? And loudmouth me said Hallelujah. Then he played "Let's Just Fall in Love Again". When it was over I got his attention and pointed to his set list and asked for it. He said something I'm not sure of about his writing or something and gave it to me. So I have his set list! I like to collect bands set list so I have to add that to my other ones! Then we did the meet and greet thing and got pics. I got my Jason calendar signed. Right before he walked outside to leave I joined singin72 outside and took video of him and Rene and 2 others wlking to the vehicle. I said something along the lines of saying it was a great show and bye Jason. When they got to the vehicle I yelled out "Hey Jason say hey to the dreadheads!" He said "Hello Dreadheads" Got it on video. Sorry I did not say that when he was closer. But I did get the shoutout to y'all. I did get all five songs on video. I hope it wasn't too dark. But I was probable 10 feet away from him when I was recording. That was so wild or me to get a phone call, leave work (lucky I'm a manager and had help there so I could walk away from work) change clothes, ggo get my friend, and get there a few minutes before he went on! I am exhausted because I stayed up way too late last night trying to figure out why my pictures from Folley Beach were so microscopic. Someone sid I need to re- upload and choose a larger size. Then I realized I never did select a size the first time. Any way fixing to crash hard because 5 am comes pretty darn quick. Will try to correct photos and upload videos in the next few days. Goodnight !! What an exciting spur of the moment experience that felt like a dream. I got to see Jason on Sunday and then a few days later! What a blessing! SUE! OMG A shoutout to The Dreadheads. Did you remember to say "Flying says Hi"! (that was for Folly Beach) I wonder how many of us he knows....do you suppose he reads us sometimes? hahaha....I can't wait to meet him one day and see him sing in person! :-)

Well, I just looked at my videos. I am disappointed that The Diamond Club did not have the stage lit up much at all. I was only 6 or 7 feet from Jason and got close up video and it was dark. You can still see him but you can't see how blue his eyes are and that nice complexion. And then to add insult to injury, Someone took their talkative loud children there. ( I love children and have a child but it's like a wedding or church-take the kid outside). It was supposed to be for 20 people or so. But Sacha told me that Jason got there and said he wanted to open it up to anyone who wanted to come. That's so Jason isn't it? So the noisy people were there to socialize in the bar. It's funny how I was only aware of the noisy kid during the performance. Maybe because I was so close to the stage and seeing him and hearing him up close, I was in such bliss that I was oblivious to anything else. Just in my own trance listening to that beautiful, sweet Jason Castro with the heartfelt voice and kind eyes! And to know that just this past Sunday I got to ask him while he was on stage during the Q&A if "It's Alright With Me is going to be on the album. And he said yes it is. Just for you. So when I heard him play that one note before he announced his next song, I was close enough to say "You're going to play It's Alright With Me aren't you? He said yes I am. And as he started to play it he said This is for the pretty lady in front of me and he smiled. . I glanced around and didn't see any body else by me! I He sure made this 50 yr old lady feel special for a moment! Well maybe I'm still feeling special because someone chose to call me and offer me the chance of a lifetime to see someone that is dear to my heart. I met Jason last August at the AI concert. And a year later I got to see and talk to him twice in four days time. Wow! That's enough...I'm tearing up because this made me so happy! Anyway I'm posting the videos anyway. I just wanted to let y'all know about the poor lighting in the bar and the noisy people.

Thanks for the vids, Sue... It might be a little dark on the stage, but you can still see Jason fine and it gives that intimate feeling... and the sound is GREAT!! the kids don't distract at all...

Here is the link to It's All Right With Me. Jason looked at me before he played that one chord and stopped like he knew I was gonna say something because I just saw him a few days ago and asked about it being on the album. He had said yes it is, just for you. And on this video when he stopped after the note, He looked straight at me and I said "You're going to play It's All Right With Me aren't you? I love the way he said yes I am. And did I love it when he said the song was for the pretty lady in front of him and he gave that cute Jason look! I'm sorry I'm still a little giddy! Well, a lot giddy! I got a Jason moment I'll always treasure. And I have it on video! Seriously y'all, If Jason comes near your town at all, don't fret about whether or not you'll lose sleep, or hate going by yourself, or worry about driving almost 4 hours like I did on Sunday, Just go!! Don't hesitate! These small intimate settings are a once in a lifetime chance to get to be up close to him singing and getting to talk to him. I was so blessed to have that opportunity twice in 4 days! He would not have remembered me on Wednesday if I had not seen him on Sunday and gotten to ask him the song question. He is so sweet and kind and funny to each person he comes in contact with! I know I will see him on tour every chance I ever get. It will be more difficult to get these up close opportunities again because he is a big star already and he is going to soar even higher! Oops, sorry I was just supposed to leave a link for the song! I'll come back down to earth shortly! www.youtube.com/watch?v=T03dyAoG5V4&feature=channel_page

Life is short peeps, waiting around for others to make your dreams come true and you may wait to late. GO FOR IT! and goooooooooooooo soon as you can, so you don't have to sing the "would of, should of, could of" song.

Thanks for all the sweet comments you guys! I still have to post Hallelujah, "Let's Just Fall in Love Again", the dreadheadhead shout out when he was outside leaving, and the video of the pantzz when I was standing behind him and he took a few pics with some people. Don't get too excited, but he did kind of touch his own back pocket briefly! One more thing. The reason I'm spelling Alright "Allright" with 2 L's is because that's how Jason spelled it on the set list I got from him. I thought there is only one L. And on the set list it does say "en it matters to me". I take that as he had possibly planned to do an encore if the crowd had demanded it. That would have been awesome to hear that one! And the set list was written on paper that says Hilton New Bern/Riverfront. FYI Just now noticed.........shuts up and starts to go to youtube again
