I still can't buy tickets. When I'm on Jason's website, I click on the link and it can't be found. Does everyone have the same problem? I'm getting a little concerned. I actually questioned JCM about this problem. (I tried to find their response, but I must have deleted it.) They basically told me that the concert is free, and told me to notify the venue. I have not had much luck doing that. Any information you can find out would be most welcome. I'm trying to decide if I want to make the drive to Madison, but would need more information than I now have!! I think that JCM should take the "buy tickets" link off, as it makes it very confusing!! Do you live in the area?

I remember it did say free when it was first announced. I wonder how early we need to be there to get tickets? What are your plans on time of arrival?

Baymont looks like a cheap but very nice hotel. It's about 5 miles from the university. www.expedia.com/Hotels?rfrr=-905&My sister and I might bunk down there for the night if we decide not to drive back after the concert.

www.union.wisc.edu/WUD/music.aspxUniversity of Wisconsin, Madison Student Union I just received an email from the person that wrote up this link. She tells me that since there are two opening acts, that the concert will now start at 9:00. She also wrote: "there isn't really a time for doors opening as it is held in an open space(der Rathskeller) in the Memorial union, the show is also free so you don't need to make any reservations. I hope this helps. thanks! Jamie"

I read somewhere that this is a free concert for the benefit of the students of the university and for the staff etc. etc.
It should be fun. Hope someone gets a video tape. I would love to hear the crowd reaction.

Fragile: It is Sue, did we meet last night :)If that was you nice to meet you. Well I am not a very good story teller. But, I will tell you a little bit about last night. Finished up in Chicago around 12:30 with Peaches and Mickey and Miss Deb. Found my way up to Madison at around 3:30 and took a couple of hour nap. Met up with ndsoccer 5 and her mom and then at the Venue with KQQKY and maybe Fragile. The room where the show was held was much larger than last night, the venue holds 400 we were told. However, the sound deck, was just a panel sitting on two tables in the middle of the room. This became problematic later in the night. Any way we had a table for 6 about two rows back. People had pulled chairs up close to the stage and then people were sitting on the floor in front of the stage. You could also sit on tables around back of the stage. The stage was just one step up from floor level. So the show started around 9:15 PM. Caitlan was first up. She is very cute and puts on a nice show. The crowd however, was very quiet throughout the set. And she was having difficulty with the sound and the balance between her guitar and her voice. So Jason comes on and I am not sure of all the songs. I remember, Thats, What I'm Here For, It Matters To Me, If I Were You, Love Uncompromised, Over The Rainbow, Lets Just Fall In Love Again and Hallelujah. He sounded so good. But, was having a great deal of trouble with the monitors and he could not hear himself and finally asked that the monitors be shut down. Steven could not even play his parts, he kept getting everb on the microphone and finally asked that it be turned off. But, all in all Jason sounded great. The people, just as soon as he came into the room that night, people were going up to him. His meet and greet went on for an hour (into Matt's set). But, it wasn't so bad because people could have their time with Jason and still listen to Matt, because it was all in the same room. He was charming and friendly to everyone, as usual, even though he was clearly tired. I spoke to him only for a second and got a picture. We saw Mandy for a second when they came into the room and she waved to us. I want over and spoke to her for a second and she was coughing. So, it looks like she is still sick. Matt's show is very nice. I was glad to see the college crowd responded to him well. So, the venue was full!! I mean packed for Jason's set. AND he sold out all of his EP's, for the second night in a row. I have such respect for this young man and all his hard work. If I get some good pictures I will post them.

I guess they have acts there all the time. But, sound system :-[The artists were quite frustrated and trying to be nice and polite at the same time. I was wondering how many pictures we had of Jason. LOL
