Thanks for bringing over the great videos! I wish I could have both of these songs on my ipod!
This tour was so much more than I even hoped it would be. I am just in tears at these precious young people following their dreams and sharing their talent so passionately and freely!
I was so impressed by Matt and Caitlyn and feel privileged to hear them in person when they were in Santa Fe! I can't wait to see where their lives take them. Perfect for touring together with Jason!

rosequeen - As to the crowd for The Loft: I would say there were about 100 there when Caitlin started, 150 by the time Jason and Stephen went on and then people kind of filed out or went to buy Jason merchandize and have him sign it so Matt Hires only had about 50 left.

Honestly - I'm not too crazy about the song, but I LOVE to hear Jason's LOWER register, so YEAHHH!

I do love Southern Accents and to be honest was kind of worried when I had heard he covered, but seeing the videos he did Tom Petty right. It sounded great. Doesn't really sound that different, except for being acoustic well I guess that is a pretty big difference. Still Jason did a good job.

You're welcome! 2 - can you tell us about the audience? was it packed? was everyone there for Jason, hometown support and all that. love the videos! thanks There were some familiar faces, but it was a school night and many didn't want to keep their kids out late. Mainly there were a lot of young people around Jason's age. The Loft holds more than we originally thought. Maximum capacity is 600 but that includes outdoor space. Believe me, they didn't want to use that. It was quite chilly. Jason knew he was home though. We showed him lots of love. Lots of yells from the crowd. Amazing! It was my favorite show so far and that's saying a lot. =)

Elg, thanks for posting those pictures! I love the last one. Seems like he was in a great mood being at home for a couple of days.
I think I love "Southern Accents" so much because he does sing in his lower register. FIBJ is also one I could listen to and have listened to a million times! Plus, the style of the song suits Jason and I hope he'll do more songs like that someday!

You're welcome.
Hope Jason does record it one day. It should tell him something that I've had 830 hits on my youtube video since the wee hours of the morning yesterday. People seem to love his cover of Southern Accents.

Thanks so much for the pics and feedback. I'm sure Jason loved performing for his hometown audience.
Still jealous we didn't get that nice while shirt! lol

Haha...he wore that shirt in Austin the next day and told me that his dreads kept getting caught on those gold things in the front and it was annoying him!
