Kali, I love this video! He is so talented! By the way, He did message me back after the Ustream the other night and let me order that cover he did of" Baby, It's Cold Outside" featuring Megan Owens. It was on his myspace for a while. I'm so glad to have it! Megan's voice is awesome too! But, I am crazy about his originals. Been playing it in heavy rotation with Jason, GRO, and Needtobreathe.

that would be tonight JB...here's hoping for vids its an elec show...which I love. What did you think about the response to the Hallelujah question...poor kid is just trying to NOT be compared to Jason and people just won't let it drop. Personally the only similarity I see is the dreads and heart. They are both strong in their faith and that is very attractive to me. I love an idividual with conviction. Many of ya'll don't think of me as Christian because of my stance that a fan-forum is not the place to discuss it. Simply put fans come of diffferent races, ages and religious persuasions and well I believe everyone should be comfortable...you know the old adage "never discuss religion or politics with friends" Both boys/men are wonderful but with Samuel as with Jason let's not get into his faith...it's personal to him and he can share it if/when he's comfortable. I agree, Kali...I think all of us should remember how we felt when the people who interviewed Jason always mentioned the dreads and his laid back demeanor and whether or not he was serious about winning or compared him to others.... I think we should show Samuel the same respect and not continually compare him to Jason. They are two completely different artists and Samuel deserves to be loved by us for who he IS... and not HOW he's like Jason, especially the hair and bracelets and shirtless drumming and strong faith.... There will be other times he may want to open up and share his feelings, like Jason did with the I'm Second Campaign or something similar, but not in an open discussion on a public LIVE CHAT... with a very diverse and opinionated population. I keep looking at how Jason handles himself. He doesn't have to go around talking about his faith all the time. He just plain lives what he believes and that speaks far louder than words ever could and draws far more to him, in my opinion. He doesn't rub people's noses in it. I also agree with how you want to handle things on the forum, Kali, though you were a bit abrupt in your communication style in the beginning. There were a couple times I seriously thought about leaving, because I thought what had originally brought me here was gone. That was not the case, however.... After I did some pouting of my own... my eye's began to grow clearer and my heart grew peaceful when I finally realized I was to stand firm and not be defensive and give up, but, instead, work hard at becoming a better peacemaker... Eventually, you joined us for breakfast and let us catch a glimpse of what was held inside of you, especially during your most difficult challenges. Since then, there has never been a doubt in my heart how genuine you are. Though I may have been a bit cautious in the beginning... you now have my deepest respect, love and loyalty! For the most part I think we have achieved your ultimate goal up in the breakfast club where we have a rainbow of diversity and lifestyles and a pretty good example of how we can all live together peacefully and as a family without having to agree on everything! HURRAY FOR THE DREAD HEAD'S! I'm very proud of how far we've come and how close we have grown as a family... It's all good and I think both Samuel and Alex are the kind of young men who deserve to have that type of following supporting them! And like I said before...I believe the Dread head's have more than enough LOVE to spread around! OOPS! Looks like I ended up writing another Novelette...sheesh!

was just bringing this over from AI for those of you interested...it's the link to Sam's golden ticket interview, www.americanidol.com/videos/season_9/golden_ticket_interviews/samuel_larsen/JB, In the beginning here I had to be standoffish and abrupt. The heinousness of the crap on the old sight demanded it and we needed a fresh start. When I was torn between JCM and here I chose here. I love the dreadheads...even with the serious hiccups we had. At DDB there were over 5000 of us. Not all wanted peace and understanding some just wanted drama..I am not about the drama, At DDb someone else was pulling the strings...I was the puppet with title. This site I started, I wanted it for you. I did not want ya'll stuck with the restrictions at JCM but yet it needed to be clear that the BS was history...thru the lumps and bumps we've come out alright...we are fewer in number but we make that up in peace, understanding and love for one another...we are a community!

Yay! Samuel has his own space here at TDH! I love it. I didn't mind it being on the front at all, but since I noticed Sam had joined the site, I thought maybe he might pop in now & again to chat if he had his own special place. I think you should but a big notice on the front page to tell everyone his thread is up here. I wouldn't have known if you hadn't mentioned it in the Breakfast club, so I came looking for it. First I gotta give a hand to the Suester for her novelette, which sums up our DH family quite nicely. I almost left the group at one point also, but it was because I felt I was being smothered in Christianity, of which you all know I am not. I appreciate more than you know, Kali, keeping this forum comfortable for all of us to feel like we belong, and my DH sisterfriends, who don't drown me in a religion that is not mine. When it comes to something like spiritual beliefs, one doesn't know how hard it can be to be the different one, because people forget, or try to convert you or save your soul, but you all at the Breakfast Club have made it easy for me to feel like I belong too. I am new to getting to know Samuel, and so far, yes, he does seem to be more like Jason, in that he lives his faith, instead of talking about it all the time, & I like that very much. So, so far I like his music, I love his voice, he has entertained me at the live feed, and he seems like a genuinely nice kid. That is good enough for me to want to help him out. I so love the vid of him singing Use Me. That song is an old favorite of mine, and never in a million years did I think I would want someone to sing it, than Bill Withers, but it has blown me away. I wish he would record that, but I know there are a lot of red tape issues in getting permission to cover certain songs. Sorry! I always ramble too much in the mornings when I am having my coffee!

This seems like a perfect spot for Samuel's thread. Cool!
So, I have a question. I assume Samuel is handling his own EP orders, right? I ordered his EP back on Thursday (I think), and I am still waiting an email with the download link. Do you think I should send him an email to inquire or wait a few more days?
I'm looking forward to having those songs on my ipod!

He does everything on his own. I believe his orders have grown in the past lil bit some have recieved it X2 and you not at all so I would message him on Myspace or FB or one of his many networking sites.
He really does need to get his own site up and running lol. Much more professional then he can lose this BigCartel nonsense and take paypal direct and use sendspace to distribute. Maybe I'll offer to help? After all I've figured out the least expensive means to an end heh...
Truth is he has many more savvy friends that should have offered to do this for him. Ya'll know me I'm a bit of a mama lol. I just like to help, when I believe in someone.
Cheezey, members like you are the reason I was such a biotch in the beginning. Anyone that was intolerant of others well, I deal with them in real life I didn't want to deal with them here. You know that I am Christian but my husband is not (he's pagan) If a marriage can work so can a webforum...Christ told me not to judge, and well I listened. It's called free will baby!! I admire people who walk the walk of their beliefs, without it defining them entirely. And when it gets down to it the core elements to all religions are the same. Love each other, treat each other they way you wish to be treated, respect the higher power and the mother earth. Live a good and honest life. Boil it down to the basics and its easy for all religions to get along. Ok I just threadjacked Sams thread whoopsy!!

When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace. Jimi Hendrix

Now back to Samuel......... Kali I know you could figure out a website for him easily enough.I have made websites for my bff for her business www.chaparralrose.com and for my daughters work, for her boss, who is a good friend. www.jerrypreecejrfarms.comThey don't have shopping carts and are not set up with auto responders, or enabled to take paypal, because they are not that kind of business, but I built both of them through yahoo small business, and sitebuilder takes you step by step through the whole process. You could do it easily whith your smarts! I haven't worked with other web hosting sites, but I am guessing many are just as easy. C'mon, just do it, you know your'e gonna anyway! Also........ How many tracks on on his CD, because I received 8 tracks but they were numbered, 1-9 with 6 missing, making 8 songs. Is this right or am I missing a song?

That's not my call its his lol!! I've built many sites besides TDH this one I try to represent Jason and his fans hence the denim/ colours etc. I've even built sites for contactor friends in Cali. And several musician "friends" and a candle company. Building them is never a prob its a blast!!! But it is defin a collaboratory processs. TDH was built out of the ashes of DDb and didn't have a front page till 6 months ago? I have restructured the front and asked for Samuel's input.

I just wasn't sure if maybe he had pulled a song or something, so I wanted to ask first. Squeee, I think it would be awesome if he had you do a website for him. If he is smart, he will! ;D

Awwww....I luvs you, Cheezey! Especially for putting up with my picture book novelettes! Does anyone know if Samuel made it to the San Diego Concert after all? He had mentioned looking into it on Jason's live feed from Dallas... though I realize his schedule is pretty fricken full as it is! Both Cheezey and I said we were planning to be there and hoped to get the chance to meet him in person... And then BOTH of us became REALISTIC and coped out at the last minute figuring we probably wouldn't survive all the hours of standing like the rest of you die hard youngun's! Ha! Samuel...if you happen to pop in here for a visit and you DID end up going to the San Diego Concert.... You missed out on TWO Voluptuous Gramma's coming up to you and pinching your cheeks! Ha Ha! Of course we would have each chosen a separate side and pinched you at the same time! We are just very proud of you and looking forward to watching your career develop.... Actually...maybe you should think of us as Aunties, instead... After all, I DO have a 21yr old daughter and Ms Cheezey is much younger than "Moi!" and our grandchildren are still pretty young!(lol)
