Tickets--$40
Hotel--$130
Gas and tolls--around $80
Seeing Jason and Michael sing--worth their weight in gold
Having your husband FINALLY admit that he likes Jason's music enough to actually accompany you to the concert--PRICELESS!!!
(After much 'convincing', all it really took was two playings of the new CD!! And if you knew my hubby, you'd know that says A LOT about how great Jason's music truly is...elebenty-one!)

WHERE ARE YOU STAYING , i WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE EASIER TO STAY IN BEECHWOOD JUST OUTSIDE OF CLEVELAND, ONLY ABOUT 10 MINUTES FROM THE VENUE, SO WE BOOKED AT THE HAMPTON INN BEECHWOOD FOR A SUITE 114.00 AND NO PARKING FEE'S , SO IF THAT HELPS A LITTLE..THERE ARE FIVE OF US STAYING THERE..

We're staying at Embassy Suites in Beachwood. Is that near you guys?? ...runs to look it up online...
I'll see what I can do to encourage my husband to pass the word to others, but--honestly--it's been a two year struggle to get him to this point! I've told him to expect giddiness, uncontrollable smiling, screaming and my complete focus on Jason throughout the concert and after...I'm just hoping he can handle it!! No matter what I tell him, I think he's afraid that I'm the ONLY 50-something fan of our guy!

Ha! We're right across the street from each other : ) Where is everyone coming from...? I'm just east of Rochester, NY...about 5 hours away. So...I have to admit that I'm very ignorant about how things work at this type of concert venue... Do people sit at tables and order food/drinks...or can you just stand and watch the concert? Do you all plan to go to The Grog Shop really early to wait in line? Once inside do patrons tend to claim a spot close to the stage and just wait? I know it sounds pathetic, but I'm really a bit out of my comfort zone with the whole bar thing...!

Oh, I'm definitely a power stander. I'd much rather do that than have to sit at a table and pretend to eat, or order a soft drink. I guess my concern was that the bar will expect its patrons to be ordering food/drinks if they're gonna be taking up space. I'm starting to think there will be others like me who are only there for one reason--well, maybe two--JASON and our added bonus, Michael!

Thanks, wvapeachez! I can give you mine, too. I have no idea what we'll be doing, but I'm going to stop worrying about the protocol involved and, instead, bask in the excitement of the upcoming event!

Ahh Cleveland. Home to disappointment. We remember "The Drive" and "The Fumble." Now we are home to "The Cough." "If it weren't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all." Actually, my dd and I had a good time at the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights on May Day, 2010. We came in as Michael was singing. (FYI, parking is plentiful on Coventry Street in Cleveland Heights if you have enough quarters for the meters. There is a dollar changer at the entry of the parking deck by Marc's discount store.) Michael is funny and charming and I bought his Alb. Camera Can't Lie was good. I liked their last two songs. Eric, the lead singer, admitted he had washed his red PANTZ!!!!!!!! for the first time the night before. The band also hustled their CD's in Jason's M& G line. It was funny. Jason seemed so happy and relaxed. He admitted he had a COUGH on Saturday morning. He tried to press on through the show, but he had trouble hitting the high notes. He asked the crowd to sing along and we did. I really enjoyed IIWY. It seemed like the band got going then and it all came together and then the dreaded "band meeting." Jason talked to the guys and decided to sing just a few more songs and cut it short. He softly sang "Hallelujah" at the end and it was beautiful. I almost balked at getting in the M&G line, but my dd insisted. Jason was sipping hot tea and I got my first picture and autograph. All in all a good night.

OMG this weekend has been an epic story! Ups and downs, trials and triumphs!
Well we all met up at WVPeachez house in Ft Wayne and then after arguing with the doggone Tomtom finally we wereon our way to Cleveland just in time to put on our faces and scamper off o the Grogg Shop where Miss Debby was holding us a spot near the stage; then we settled in for the show.
First up was Michael who had such clever funny banter with the audience! He sang like 6 songs, Trouble, Free, Home, Dont know why, and a couple others. He really is amazingly talented.
Then came Cameracantlie which was pretty rockin (although I was right by the speaker and it belw my eardrum)
Then a long pause and here came our sweet boy!! The crowd was just wild for him! He did a quick sound check and started in with, Oops cant rember play list! haha!
Anyway the crowd was really getting into it but then he started faltering. His voice was getting strained and he had tweeted earlier about waking up with a cough. He had a quick band meeting (as someone said above) and then sais a couple more and wanted the crowds to help him out.
