Are Dave or Rene traveling with Jason on this round? They're always good for pictures.

Hey ya'll! BundleofJoy here. I only had 2 hrs. sleep last night but I am flying high cuz guess what?! I saw Jason at The Vue in Augusta, Georgia last night!elebenty-one!! It was a blast!! I was on the fence about going cuz of having to be at work this morning at 5:00 but ironically Jason's calendar came in the mail yesterday...it was an omen...I had to go! So I put on a "little" black dress and off I went. Ya'll this was a nightclub and it was right near Augusta State College and it was packed with college age kids and wall to wall little black dresses. I bumped into one Copian from Virginia...painter! Whoop! I didn't see any Dreadheads that I know of. The dance floor was packed and I was bee-boppin around chatting with these college age kids. Some of them were there to see Jason, some of them just knew of him, and some of them didn't know him. The music was pumping, dance music, and like I said the dance floor was packed! I saw Jason come in thru a side door with probably his manager and they crouched down as they crossed the room in front of the stage, trying to look inconspicuous. I waved, Hi Jason! He smiled and waved back. About 20 minutes went by and he hadn't come on yet and I saw he and his manager head back out the door they came in. For one horrifying moment I thought OMG surely he hasn't changed his mind about singing. Surely he doesn't think this is not the right venue for him. I scooted after him and shouted, "Jason, Jason! are you singing tonight?" He turned and said, Yes I am, in just a few moments. I gave him a thumbs up and blew him a kiss. Jason was opening for a band called, "Push Play". When the DJ said, Are you ready to hear some Push Play? the crowd cheered. Then he said, How bout some Jason Castro? And the crowd screamed even louder! Finally he was there on the stage, I swear about 2 1/2 feet away from me! And the crowd was roaring. The dance floor was still packed, as was the rest of the room, with all eyes on Jason. Now I would love to be able to tell you every song that he sang but honestly the air was pretty thin up there on Cloud 9 but I will try my best....First he said, Hey everybody! Ya'll look so pretty in your little black dresses....so sweet. He looked only slightly nervous at first but he had such a warm welcome and he has become such a professional! He eased right into his groove. His voice is stronger and richer than ever. Okay he sounded great at the Malls but this was a nightclub, built for music, can you imagine?! It was magical. He opened with That's What I'm Here For and the crowd was groovin. I could tell he's been practicing keeping his eyes open more but in the second song, It Matters to Me, his eyes were closed, he was deep into it, and a girl with a camera shouted, Open your eyes! He smiled sheepishly and opened his eyes. LOL. Shoot, my break is over, gotta go, to be continued on my next break! ..........

Okay, I'm back..... I gotta tell ya, before Jason came out, I was a little worried. I thought, how are they gonna slow things down to Jason's mellow romantic pace, cuz the dance music was really thumpin and people were pumped and rockin. Well, I needn't have worried at all. The crowd loved him. He was funny, at one point he looked out at us and said, this is pretty cool, ya'll look like a bunch of uniforms out there. lol You see, it was "little black dress" night and all the ladies that wore little black dresses got in free. One part that was odd for me was that people were talking amongst themselves while he was singing. Didn't seem to bother Jason at all. But remember, this was a nightclub, not a coffee shop or a library...and people are not quiet in nightclubs! lol I also reminded myself that these were college kids, the generation of multi-tasking! And clearly they had no problem talking while listening, because after each song there was thunderous applause and people whistling and hollering Jason's name! Also, from what I could tell from the people around me, they were mostly chatting a bout him. Guess what? When he sang Let's Just Fall in Love Again, a couple times during the choruses he stood back from the microphone and let the crowd sing the words, cuz they were all singing them! Jason loved it. Afterwards he said, wow, that was fun. He sang for about 40 minutes. It was just him and his guitar and he sounded Awesome! He sang Love Uncompromised. And he sang You can Always come Home. I'm sorry to say that I have not one single picture! My daughter's camera battery died and I left my phone in the car, Duh! But I'm not gonna complain, I took pictures with my brain. Shoot, at the moment I can't remember what else he played, I know he didn't have his uke. Oh and guess what? He closed with Hallelujah. And the whole room was singing along! It was amazing. I had goose bumps. Afterwards he was gonna be hanging out in a VIP room with couches but you had to have some bracelett to get in there and I don't know where the braceletts came from, but anyway, Security told me that they were all given out already. I had to get home to bed anyway. No matter, it was a fantastic night. I am just so proud of him! His training wheels are off and he's rolling and rockin, and very, very well! My favorite part....was watching them love him!

Oh, one more thing...He said his album will be out early next year. I hope that doesn't mean another glitch or something is gonna postpone it again. I'm srsly about to bust with anticipation.
