Was looking for tweets all night but didn't see any. lack of tweets shouldn't be a problem in ATL tonight - coke will be there.

Gramma ... it was so awesome that we're all still speechless!elebenty-one Wow!elebenty-one FloridaMom and I have been squeeing non-stop since about 8:30 PM yesterday. I just walked in the door about a half hour ago. I HAVE VIDEO OF THE WHOLE THING!elebenty-oneelebenty-oneelebenty-oneelebenty-one! ;D
FloridaMom dropped me off and is off on her drive back to work.
We are floating on Cloud 9. And exhausted. I'm barely coherent, but I will try to get these videos up on YouTube before I crash.
Let's see, some small tidbits to hold you over ...
The set list: "That's What I'm Here For", LU, ACOUSTIC CLOSER!elebenty-oneelebenty-one!, IMTM, "You Can Always Come Home" DUET WITH CAITLIN CROSBY!elebenty-oneelebenty-oneelebenty-oneelebenty-one!!, IIWY!elebenty-oneelebenty-one!!, "Let's Just Fall in Love Again", Hallelujah
The vast, vast majority of the crowd was there for Jason. And I mean the overwhelming majority.
Caitlin Crosby is as cute as a button and mad talented. What a wonderful personality!! And she is beautiful inside and out.
Matt Hires is wonderful. I love his music. And he is a super nice guy.
We got some good one on one time with Jason and chatted with him for quite a while after his set.
And, oh yeah ... Jason was staying at the same hotel we were. I had a close encounter with him in the lobby. ;D

Getty, that's so exciting!! I'm leaving in a couple of hours for my concert. The show tonight is sold out, and I'll be interested to see how many are there for Jason. He has a big group of fans in ATL as seen at the mall tour, so I bet there are lots of peeps there for him tonight. I really hope to get some one on one time with him!
The song list is great - can't wait! I'm really looking forward to your videos and more reports.

To all future concert goers ... just as a heads up ... when Jason finished his set, almost everyone that had been standing (crowding) the stage went to the back of the room to stand in line for merchandise and pictures with Jason. It is natural and right that, if that is who you mainly came to see, that is who you want to talk to. Jason stayed last night until he had talked to each and every person that wanted time with him. He left before the end of the show so that he could start his drive to Decatur. The venue was small enough that, even though we were not standing right in front of the stage, we could still see and hear and appreciate Matt. But, and this is a big but, many people got their Jason time and left the venue. By the time Matt's set was done a big portion of the crowd was gone. If at all possible, stick around for Matt's set. Show him a little bit of Dreadhead love. He is a great performer and has some beautiful songs. And, he is a super nice guy. Matt is the headliner on this tour and I can't help but feel that, sooner or later, it going to really bug him that people are bolting before the end of the show.
Okay. End of my public service announcement. The videos are uploading. I'll post them as they become available.
Bennie, have a blast tonight!elebenty-one!! I'm jealous knowing what a great show you have in store. Drive safely, I understand it's raining a lot in Decatur.

Can't help but think of the reports I heard about the AI concert....i.e., Adam and Kris. It has to be hard for the headliner. And I really do like Matt's music. How many songs did he play?

Good message. Getty. I was glad that we got to see Jason in Orlando between sets and didn't miss Kris. I know some people have said they might leave after Jason's set because they have to work tomorrow, but I do plan to stay. And the weather is nasty!! Woke to rain, then the sun came out. But it's overcast again. I hope the rain holds off cause that really screws up ATL traffic! And I don't want to stand out in the rain waiting for the doors to open.

Samecage, awesome recap and so excited for you. I 100% concur about showing proper respect to the artist. It's easy for me to step in someone elses shoes and think "how would I feel", and I'm sure he's great too and look forward to seeing him. I would hate our behavior in anyway to cause any type (intentionally or unintentally) riff between the artist touring together. shoot when I went to see Brooke I even indured having to listen to Michael Johns set. lol

Ladies & gentlemen, boys and girls ... I present to you the first video that has uploaded ... the duet with Caitlin Crosby. I know you're all anxious for "Closer", but I recorded 4 songs on that clip and I have to figure out how to trim it down and make it one clip per song so that it uploads to YouTube. Without further ado .... And for Kali ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=AncIGmF4GRw

Awww, damn, I wanna watch the video, but I'm gonna hold off and see it live first! Guess I better leave the computer and go get myself ready. I'm picking up my daughter and another fan so we can all go together and be there when the doors open at 6:30. Julie's BF is joining us for the concert after baseball practice. Maybe he'll get out early since it's so wet here.
I've got butterflies!!

I love her, too. She IS pretty special. She has such a wonderful message with her "Love Your Flawz" campaign. I love it that you call me Samey!! You are quite dear to me, too. FloridaSue and I talked about you and all our other HOB friends a lot during the course of our day together. Thanks, Glo, for your kind comments here and on YouTube. And thanks for the help on Twitter.
