I am very sorry that I didn't post at all. It's been crazy in the last three days, and today I was completely exhausted and couldn't even get out of bed in the morning.
First of all, I wanted to thank Sherry and Darlene. They are the most wonderful and generous people (Oh my god. they didn't even let me pay at all!) with a good sense of humor! I wish my English was good. My English speaking/listening ability is even worse than my writing/reading so I couldn't understand most of their jokes. But I had a lot of fun with them! And Teri was so nice to me too!
Well, I guess many people think that I came all the way from Japan just to see Jason but it is not really the reason why I am here. I am visiting my husband in Phoenix. It's a long story but we have been living apart from each other for almost four years now. He got very sick so I took a leave from work and got here in January. But he is getting much better so now we are planning to go back to Japan together. There are many things to be done like putting things in a storage room, selling a car and house (I know. It's the worst time.) , etc.....so I was not sure if I could even go to any of Jason's shows but I am so glad that I decided to go. I really needed a break just to relax and enjoy a few days.
Jason was super nice and so sweet!! I asked him to sign my uke and he did it. But originally, I wanted him to sign my guitar. I just bought my first acoustic guitar and wanted him to sign it but I thought it would be a hassle to carry around from Phoenix to San Diego so I changed my plan. I bought a very tiny ukulele and bring it to San Diego. After he signed my uke, I still couldn't give up about my guitar so I asked him if he would sign my guitar too. He smiled and said "Sure! Bring it tomorrow. I will sign it." That's when Teri saw my jumping up and down. lol.
And Jason's show was awesome!! I was totally mesmerized by his singing. I went to see Jason at AI concert in 2008 but the small venue was much better to listen to his music.
I really want to learn how to play guitar and sing like him!

JRCfan..I love the look of joy on his face in the last one! He looks downright happy! Thanks. I did get the feeling that he was especially happy and relax that day. He was smiling alot and joking a lot. He was out by the merchandise table for a long time signing autographs and taking pictures and he was still in very good mood after. I'm glad many of you enjoyed the pictures...you're right, those are not too shabby Cheezey, I thought you would be there. I thought I see a post a while back that you plan to go to the San Diego. Yeah, let's go again next (if in San Diego). That city is doable for me.

...Are you going to post more? I am trying to get 2 videos that I have on youtube, but was not successful. Will try again. I've never posted anything on youtube before, so I'm on a learning curve right now. I think my browser "thought" something was fishy on that site and , for security reasons, it just ended the program... it kicked me out. <<a little later....>> I'm trying to download a video to youtube but it says it'll take 30-40 min. Is that unusual? Maybe I should cancel it if it's too big. I think I should have recorded in lower resolution or something...

Awe Darlene loved seeing these videos and pics of the Uke. So happy Rico got to see Jason backstage and have that special experience with you all. I'm sure she'll never forget it. And what a beautiful job he did on decorating her uke! Thanks for sharing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And lets all forget about past negative stuff and love one another, all Jason fans and enjoy the music, friendships and bonding we all share together. Love Much, Hate Little -Jason Castro (Such a good example of love he is) Sorry, another delay in posting my pictures, although they pale in comparison to Teri's. My mom is doing so much better, she isn't out the woods yet, but the road to recovery is much brighter. To wet y'alls appetite here is Jason signing Rico's uke: And here is the finished product: Once again, here is the shout out to Carly Rose:

Here is the final video of the backstage pass - hope you all enjoy. It starts off with another view of Rico's Japanese shout out then transitions to Sherry asking Jason who is laughing at the beginning of "If I Were You".

Nutatella FTW!elebenty-one lol "make a big Jason", whoops I'm guilty as charged. *lol* but in my defense it was Valentines day and I bought enough for everyone to share. Oh yeah and I put Emergen C in there too for good measure.

jrcfan, it's not unusual for YouTube to take 30 minutes to upload your video, especially if it's HD.

jrcfan, it's not unusual for YouTube to take 30 minutes to upload your video, especially if it's HD. Thanks HannaB. That's good to know. It's an AVI file and I did search for a freebie software over the internet to convert it to FLV but was not successful. It's not a great video but like to know how put it up there successfully.

My video took 4 hours to upload and it is low quality. Oh, my...that is a long time. You are very patient, Darlin' I finally added my first video. I'm not sure if I edit the title and caption successfully, I think it's still just the filename, but the download was a success. I tried not to look through the camera when Jason's performing but look at the real thing instead, so my camera drifts. He was tapping his feet away and I did try to get that. My $99 camera doesn't record audio when it zooms so there's breaks in the audio. Hey, look, it works...I did it ;D:)

So happy for you Rico! Glad Jason was rested and in a happy mood for you and you could spend some time with him. Sometimes the venues can be crazy and they all can be exhausted. Of course hanging out with your DH sisters tops it all off to make it special and worth the trip!
Sounds like you really needed that fun time. I hope things go well with your husband and with moving!
