Oh, my! They got stuck in traffic in Chicago for 2 hours and made it just in time for the show. The show was amazing. Jason is just breathtaking and little bro is putting on a fine show. Marcie has some pictures, a few good ones. I was in the balcony, so mine came out very small. I have one little good one for you guys though. Tomorrow.

Jason Tweeted... "CHICAGO ROCKED MY WORLD TONIGHT!!! man what a blast... cant wait to do it again" Well I certainly hope so, because I am ready to buy tickets to see you again!! OMG, OMG, O.M.G.elebenty-one! It was fantastic!! I don't know what I can say that has not already been said. This young man knows how to put on a show! Go, go, go!! (I know, just get him close! He did say that he would love to go to Canada!) My friend, Linda, and I arrived at the venue around 5:30. What I lovely new venue for Chicago. It was all spanking-rehab-new. We were waiting for Susie, who was stuck in traffic. Very frustrating for her, but we enjoyed our time. Food was delish. Bella and friends came in while we were dining. Didn't get much time to talk to them. Saw April and Sarah. Hugs all around. The guys arrived while we were sitting down. Seems that they got stuck in traffic too. No never mind. The show was great!! My friend headed upstairs, but I was just drawn to the stage. I was probably four rows back, but behind short people, so it didn't really matter. There were two guys beside me who had first heard Jason at Schubas, the last time he was in town. Drawn back like moths. One of the guys helped me replace my camera batteries (that goodness I remembered to bring extra this time) when I couldn't see, and saved my place when I had to take a potty break. Thanks, guys!! Love ya!! There were lots of young people around me. I think that I was the only gramma center stage, but I didn't really care!! Michael and Camera Can't Lie's sets were very good. They add much to the concert experience, and I was happy to buy an EP, and get it signed by Michael. Very engaging young man. Jason was on. And right in front of me. GAH!! I will never get used to seeing him in the flesh. He is one incredibly gorgeous young man. (But you all knew that!!) His set was: Happy Birthday to some people in the audience. (But not our Dingue Ape. Her friends were calling out her name. We sang HB to her before we left. ) Heart of Stone All Wrapped Up Let's Just Fall in Love Again It Matters to Me If I Were You Over the Rainbow You Can Always Come Home Mr. Tambourine Man (He intentionally sang it like he did on Idol, with the forgotten words hummed. Very cute!! [Thanks, Susie! ]) That's What I'm Here For This Heart of Mine Love Uncompromised Changing Colors (love) Closer Hallelujah, unplugged. Can I just say...... priceless...... Worth every cent the night cost me. Trust me. (More. Posting this before it goes Poof!!)

Jason was wonderful, the band was great. It was a very enjoyable night. Susie got a private Meet and Greet, but I will let her tell you about that. I didn't take any videos, but I did get a couple of semi-good pictures. This one is kinda neat!! The merchandise table was mayhem. I managed to get a couple of CDs signed, but that was about it. I did mention Jim Croce, so he would know who I was! He said that he would love to perform everywhere, and he has no control over how his CDs are sold. (Sorry, Halo!) We had a drink and talked a bit with KQQKY before we left. Susie was good enough to drive us back to our hotel, as we had walked there. I was one tired old lady, but I loved every single minute. It will probably take me a couple of days to recover physically, but many more days to recover emotionally. When can I do it again?

Last night was absolutely amazing. Since I was stuck in the same traffic jam that Jason was caught in I missed seeing Michael's set but they had the sound piped into the dining area and Michael sounded great.
I brought 4 friends with me to see Jason for the first time and they loved him almost as much as we all do. The highlight for me was when Jason sang Hallelujah Unplugged. The tears were rolling down my face.
My friends got scared when they saw the long line to see Jason up close and personal so we left, must to my chagrin.
I think I have a couple good pictures but will need to download them over the weekend.
