You know, I like the fact that he doesn't imprint his name all across Jason's umm, face... yeah, his face... that's it...

Thanks for all the stories and videos and pictures!!! Wow that SW dinner story sound a little scary. I'm a germaphobe(is that a word?) so I would have been freaking out cursing at people. I wish I could have gone because we could have eaten at my family's barbeque restraunt in Dallas and they have a back party room for large groups. It's cafeteria style, like Luby's or Chipolte so the line goes fast and you get your own drinks and napkins and straws and silverware.
Did Jason sing Closer? Did I already ask this? I just found out he is coming to Houston in May with Train so I'm excited to try to go to that.

Thank you Cheezy, I did see a difference in his camera tho, in fact I saw im and his camera at the event and was jealous of both his equipment and his advantage point. They shoot and work with RAW files, I have the ability but not the software,.... YET. I have fun tho and that's whats most important.
M2J he sang Closer at The Loft and also by special request from me at Bill's. He asked us what we wanted and I shooted out Closer, he said it was more of a band song and then said, "ok you want Closer, I'll play it for you", and so he did and then he said "that's the 1st time I played it like that" and I said "second", he looked at me and said "really? well it feels like the 1st time". I wish this weekend was last weekend, but I know those in San Diego and LA are loving this weekend.

Yeah, he played Closer accoustically at our show in Jacksonville in January. It was HOT! I still have my handwritten set list I made that night.

You know, one of the things that just thrilled me at Saturday night's concert, was the make-up of the crowd attending. Jason's original fanbase made a great showing, of course, but we were a small % of those there. There seemed to be a lot more young people, and the number of men in the crowd was pretty encouraging... and these were not men dragged along by their ladies, but young musician types... guys who know and love to be around good music... at least that's the take I got on it...Seeing this really made me feel good about Jason's future in music... It is this segment of the population I see growing and it will continue to grow as he tours... and I say WHOOP FOR THAT!!
We, the Dreadheads, are a very vital part of Jason's fanbase and one he values, but we aren't all (as some would have the gen'l public believe... **cough VFTW cough**)

Maybe we can get him to do it again when he hits 500,000. A gold record.

Paris, Michael told me he'd just come back from a wedding, must of been a quicky one . Betsy told me he had to sing at the wedding then rush back for the concert then get back there for the reception. That's why he didn't stick around as long as Jason. We didn't get to talk to him afterward but while he was up on stage my husband made some comments to him that made him smile, like telling him that his new name on facebook would be "fancy PANTZ!!!!!!!!" because of the way he was dressed. lol

Was finally able to sit down without interruption and treat myself to my very own CD Release concert. The pictures and videos were more than I ever expected. I honestly felt like I was in the front row, enjoying all the wonderful songs up front and personal. Jason couldn't have looked any happier. (How generous of him to share the stage with his bro and sis -- lookin out for their careers as well.) Happy all you beautiful dreadheads had such a FANtastic time!! Thanks for all the goodies. Well, from memory, which is none too good, Michael does Trouble, Home and a new song he wrote called What I Know and one or two more that I can't remember... Oh, yeah, now I remember one of the others... "I'm Free" because he ad libs the bridge in the song and it's pretty funny...
