More on my evening later, I promise. I wanted to get my videos up too. I wasn't nearly as close as Lorraine, ttfn, Margie or even my own mother (that story is yet to come). So, even though theirs are a whole lot better, thought I'd give ya'll a different perspective from the cheap seats. #1 Feliz Navidad (sorry - it was there, now its not. I'm trying again, but it takes a long time) I was too far back again to shoot any pictures, but I did shoot the video. I'm a little ADD (you think) and shooting video is way too boring for me (plus to hurts to hold that dinky camera up for so long). That's why you see the constant moving in, moving out and the lowering when my arms got tired. Anyway, this bored man standing next to me looked at my Canon and I asked him if he wanted to take some pictures with it. The man was no longer bored, he went to town with my camera and was so excited using it. His wife was the Jason fan, but I think the guy became a Jason fan as he definitely wanted copies of his work (why else would he want a copy, right?). Those pictures are coming too (I love the drama, can't you tell). Here is one of two that I actually took. Its poor lighting and head shots of others, but I thought it was unique. ttfn said that there were sound problems (I wish she'd come here and post, but I'm guessing she's having too much fun with her bff). This pic was at the very beginning when Jason was having problems with the sound.

I had a blast yesterday. I was afraid I was going to miss it. I got to The Domain at 5:30 and the place was just packed. Parking was completely full and alot of people resorted to parking across the freeway. I tried 3 parking garages and they were all full. I finally found a parking garage with a few more spaces. It was after 6:00 by the time I found a parking space. Then I ran to Macy's and found the stage and I realized I was behind the stage which made it easier to get around to almost the front. The childrens choir was just finising and Jason was next to be on. I had a great spot and a perfect view. I couldn't find any of the dreadheads and with all the people there there was no chance I would until the concert ended. I told my livefeed backup I might be late and to cover for me if I was so it turned out we both did the livefeed. The concert was so good and and I loved all his Christmas songs. After the concert and treelighting and fireworks I found ttfn and Macy at the California Pizza Kitchen and we ate dinner. I forgot at that time that the only thing I ate that day was half a granola bar in the morning so I was starving. Here is a picture Lorraine posted on Twitter. And this is NOT everyone. There were people watching from inside all the stores , restaurants, behind the stage, everywhere. The crowd was HUGE.

Hey, Darlin', Loved reading your story! Sorry you felt bad, hope it didn't last too long. I'm thrilled that you got a picture, a few words, and a blue-eye flash from Jason. I really wanted all of that for you. I'm sure the picture is awesome, and you're right, every picture of h im is lovely! Whoever's with him just adds more of the same! Now, your story has gotten me ready to tell about my sister in Denver, I'll go over to upclose and personal for that. Can't wait to see anything YOU have to show, thanks a ton!!

Can't wait Lorraine! Thanks. I don't recall hearing Greensleeves. It's one of my favorites too. When was it sung? I think what Kali is calling Greensleeves is What Child Is This.....

I'm baaaaaack. Good morning everyone. Still in afterglow of last night. Ya'll that know me know I never ever gush over Jason unless I'm messing with you. He is a 22 year old kid who has a beautiful voice, and that is it. I much more love to gush over ya'll's gushing over Jason. I love to take ya'lls pictures and shoot pictures and video just for ya'll and get excited with ya'll when you gush over Jason. Just clarifying things, so ya'll can properly appreciate my overview. Woke up yesterday morning with some serious stomach cramps. I had to rest instead of making the lunch that I HAD PLANNED. Finally, I was able to start the 5 hr trip to pick up my mom (for her b/d) down south and then go northwest to Austin. The trip was long because a lot of the roads were 2 lane and in country travelin' people, 2 lanes are really slow. Anyway, due to ttfn's bff Macy & Readheaded_Dreadhead's instructions we made it to The Domain about 1/2 hour before things started. My mom is on a walker, so I positioned her about 15 feet to the south-left of where the microphone was and took off to find ttfn. ttfn & Macy were fortunate enough to get tickets for the pre-concert meet and greet. I stood outside the jewelry store waiting for them and got to see the really cute girls who were so excited to have Jason's picture. Oh, my goodness the tweens and younger have a thing for Jason, didn't expect that. ttfn came out and showed me her pic that Jason had signed (Halo). I had seen Rene and wanted to ask a favor about getting Jason to sign something later on and mailing it back to me (Leiland). She convinced me to go in and gave me her used ticket. The gal at the door let me in. So, for the first time ever, I didn't have my camera and was going to be forced to have interface with Jason. Ya'll, I got so nervous and talkative (which is usually a sign I'm super nervous). I talked with security and anyone else who would listen. ttfn & Macy came up to calm me down (didn't work). I don't even remember what I said to Jason, but I was sure bossy. I noticed Rene had a camera and told him thanks, but no thanks. ttfn told me I had to take a picture with Jason. I took a step back and placed my arm casually around his back and smiled. Not at all in my comfort zone. His dreads were soft, though. I thanked Rene, thanked ttfn and started to walk away. I turned around as I was walking away and said "oh yeah, thank you, too" to Jason. Poor kid looked bewildered as to pain he had just subjected me to (which I think was the pain I subjected him to). I'm waaaay too flighty to have to have an actual exchange of words with the object of my obsession that is actually the object of my obession's fans. But, I did see those blue eyes looking at me, so beautiful. Oh, and to all ya'll neysayers out there who think I won't, when ttfn sends the picture, I will post it. I may be fat and all, but I got a picture with young Mr. Castro and ya'll can focus on him. After all, he never takes a bad picture, right, so the person or persons in the picture with him never look bad either, right? Concert coming up next. And, lets just say, last night I met two more fans of Jason that were not fans before the concert. Darlin my love I am so proud of you and so happy that you took a step out from your comfort zone and met Jason face to face and took a picture with him. That is hard when you are not prepared and all. But I commend you and know that I love you for being you....no matter the external looks because I would want you to love me for all of my imperfections as well. And I think that is what we have...a mutual love and respect for each other's being. Bless your heart. Oh Geeze I got real sappy on Chatter....this usually only happens at The Breakfast Club....sorry all.

Lorraine I watched all your videos and they are just beautiful.
The songs he picked to sing really relay the true meaning of Christmas and for that I am thankful. He had just enough with those songs. O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas Carol....I have viewed it at least 5674956 times.
The Christmas medley of What Child Is This into Hark the Herald Angels Sing and then to Silent Night....talk about goose bumps.
Thank you very much for your selflessness and recording this.
Darlene...I can't view your video. It says it isn't available. Sorry. I will patiently wait.

Yes, Greensleeves is an old old English folk song and the lyrics to the Christmas song "What Child is This" are set to that melody........Greensleeves is still VERY popular in Europe, it's a hauntingly beautiful melody.....I know, Kali, that this most likely leaves you sentimental for so many reasons.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImUSAf9JKHk

Thanks for the reply about Greensleeves. I was able to figure that out when watching the video back. I hadn't realized the melody had been used for What Child Is This.

I am not sure that Greensleeves was based on What Child Is This? because that Christmas song is an old old time Christmas song. I guess I can go look it up. Which song came first Greensleeves or What Child Is This?...ha ha!

He sang Feliz Navidad, O Holy Night, The medley of What Child Is This, Hark the Herald Angels Sing and Silent Night. Then he did White Christmas, "Let's Just Fall in Love Again" and Hallelujah. So that makes it about 8 songs or 5 if you count the medley as one.

Also hope Houston will appear his tour date list, or somewhere nearby. Can't wait to see him again, especially in a venue as nice as the Rudder Auditorium at Texas A&M. The sound was great there.

Well, I no more to offer ya'll, I guess. Other than the concert really was good, considering the sound, my lack of view (again) and all the people squished around me. My mom wiggling her and her walker way up to two rows back and falling for Jason's music for the first time. Oh, and there was that almost stumbling over Jason while I greeted Miss M. Oh how I wish ttfn would come here and post about her elevator ride with Jason and his entourage. Then maybe she'd write about how Jason groped her friend's shoulder (my interpretation not hers). Anyway, here is a different view of Feliz Navidad. Please remember my ADD comment earlier, I got bored fast holding the camera in one spot, plus it hurt my arms. O Holy Night And, while the other videos are uploading a couple of pictures
