Thanks, Rosequeen. I think I'm going to Los Angeles and San Diego. I'm supposed to start trial on 2/18, but I'm going to try to move it to the following week, if possible, because who starts a dang jury trial on a Thursday? Sheesh! Sorry I couldn't make it for dinner in Ontario, but in my defense, I had a pretty good excuse. yeah yeah yeah lol Didn't mean to brag. Sorry. Haha. Darlin': Had my second root canal appointment. I think they're done, thank goodness, because that wasn't pleasant.

My husband, who is a music photographer here in Austin, shot over 300 pics at the tree lighting. There are many amazing pics of Jason. Scott has posted a few of these on his Zenfolio account. These can be purchased there. I will be posting many more of just Jason on my photobucket tonight or tomorrow morning. I'll give you the link to these as soon as I get them up. Here's Scott's link : limelightimaging.zenfolio.com/p14602330 Sorry it is taking so long to get these up. Scott shot around 2500 pics over three days and we are just now getting time to edit and post.

There's a concert 2/25? When? Where? I guess I've been buried in these photos too long. Yes, I will be there. OK. This is all that I can get up today. Actually I started yesterday. I'm tired now. Here is a link to my photobucket. Scott didn't want to put all 300 on his flickr so I handpicked as many different ones as I could to post myself. He also has some on zenfolio that can be purchased.FYI s801.photobucket.com/albums/yy298/pandasmama/?albumview=slideshowHope you all enjoy them. Margy

Sounds like it was packed! Some day I would love to have that "press" badge that didn't require being there 5 hrs early for good seating. *lol*

We took along our 15 yr old son and 17 year old daughter and her BF. They all enjoyed the show. My kids watched AI7 with me and were already fans. My husband was very impressed. He also thought Jason is very photogenic. DUH!!! I wish we would have had a press pass for the show. We got to The Domain at 4:30 (show at 6pm) and were able to get right at the front. Scott and my son thought we were crazy at first but then it started to fill up quickly. We were second row at that point but my daughter found an opening and pushed me up into it. I was right on the rail just off center (since I'm the shortest) and the rest of the group was behind me. The pit was pretty small so Scott didn't really need to be any closer to get shots. The guys were tried of standing by the end but Amanda and I are pros now after a 7 hour wait for Archuleta's concert back in March. I think that the crowd was about as large as last year's when Jordan Sparks headlined. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if life had not gotten in the way and I could have met up with everyone for lunch. Maybe next time.

Ya know, Margy, I never thought to call you. I should have because we would have time to meet before the concert. My Mom and I arrived around 5pm and there was a bit of a crowd at the fence, but I still could have manouvered to talk to you. So sorry. Anyway, Jason will be singing in Austin on 2/25. Follow this link to the bottom of the page. www.jasoncastromusic.com/shows/If it wasn't on a Thursday, I might would have come to join you. But, the thought of seeing Jason three nights in a row, might be a bit much.

I had your number and ttfn's from an earlier call and didn't think of it either. The 2/25 venue, Stubbs, is a bbq restaurant with both indoor and outdoor stages. I hope this is indoors. Not one of Scott's normal venues but he promises to start early to get a pass to shoot.

Cool and awesome wrapped up into one big wow! Hey, I checked out Stubbs. The concert doesn't start until 9. I'll have to think about that one. I could get off work and drive straight to Austin and then do a no-no and leave after Jason sings. Since Stubbs serves bbq - I could go for some beans, potato salad and lots of pickles. And the website says its indoors. stubbs.frontgatetickets.com/ondate.php?t=1267077600

I completely understand your husbands comment as does Darlin I'm sure. She and I both love photography and have fun "practicing" our skills on Jason. He makes it SO EASY! haha
