All the songs were wonderful, I noticed big Crowd reactions to "Let's Just Fall in Love Again", Closer,His new Uke Song, "I'd Fall For Me" I really liked that one alot. Of course Hallelujia was Divine and the flying Hellicopter gave it this Dark essence. Love Uncompromised stood out and It Matters to me. I liked the Song he did with Jackie, and I think the CD version with Serena will sound nice, I assume you will be able to hear Serena's Soulful voice over Jackie's Background[/quote] I hope so...I couldn't hear Jackie very well on the video...she was much too soft sounding and almost unnoticeable during the performance...Though I thought she sounded much stronger during a rehearsal sound check video....With Serena added to the final recording it ought to sound very soulful and melancholy, I would think. I love all the different sounds and styles of music he is singing. He is really amazing and it seems he could be a wonderful cross over artist in several different categories. I think his fan base will be quite diverse and wide spread. I will tell you now that it wasn't Jackie as much as the microphone given to her. I suspect that was not the mic that she was supposed to use that they did the sound check on. Jackie was not meant to sing background. She was meant to sing Serena's part which is a Duet with Jason. That was the sound people's fault. Hmmmm...I was wondering about that, Winnie...You would have thought after the sound check they would have had it right...I guess there are always the possibility of screw ups when it comes to performance time...too bad. It would have been great to hear her voice more...someone's soundcheck video I listened to had Jackie sounding great and singing a lot more. I imagine she was pretty disappointed that it didn't work out as planned...bless her heart! About the song that Kara wrote...I guess I don't remember hearing it....If it was one of your video's, Winnie, it must not have stood out as much because I'd never heard it before...I'll have to go back and take a listen, again. I wish they would have added the other one they sang at TAMU to the CD...Shoot...the name slipped my mind, and it was actually my favorite of the three new ones that night. It was more of a broken romance and trying to move on kinda song...maybe they thought the Serena Duet was a better replacement, since it has a similar theme and having Jason sing a duet with someone more famous has a lot of appeal. That particular one could really do well on the Country charts. I can't wait to hear Serena's part on the CD. I loved Jason's vocals on it! Darlin'...what was the mishap that happened on All Wrapped Up? Dang it....I wish I'd been there with y'all! That Eli is going to have himself a major fan club of his own! I did get the impression on one of the video's that maybe some lyrics had been mixed up or something of that nature and that Eli was stepping it up as more of a cover up! Was that what you were referring to? I also liked the videos that Sixtiesmom DH did. I loved seeing shots of the rest of the band and I look forward to finding out more background about them and getting to know them better as well. Jason chose each one for a reason and he seems pretty darn pleased with them and they also seemed pleased. I would love to hear more of their stories and get to see more of their personalities and interactions with each other. I am loving everyone's recaps and all the little details. My heart and spirit was sure there with all of you. I guess I've just really been bummed that I won't get to see Jason up close and personal like a lot of you are getting to do multiple times. I would have gladly missed going to the AI concert in Portland to have been able to have met him at the buses before hand and had the opportunity to meet him and get a picture....oh well...At least I'll get to see him again in concert someday, but I'm afraid the meet and greets may become very limited. I have to quit feeling sorry for myself. There are soooo many other fans that never had the opportunity to see him, even briefly, during the AI Tour. You know....I don't really think it's been all that much JUST about seeing Jason, but more about finally being able to meet more of the fans we have been communicating with on the boards. The service project in Dallas is something I will treasure forever. Everyone I met...gosh...just thinking about y'all makes me teary. You became such a big part of my heart. I guess I'll just have to buy me another lil hippie van and travel around the country so I can spend time with all my sisters. DH will insist on coming along, however! He likes to travel and we use to have a VW bus when we were first married and took it camping a lot. It was a gutless wonder going up hills! Ha Ha!

JB here's This Heart of Mine
Everytime I look in your eyes Can't control my heart I'm so high
I do like this song though.....even just with the clip from the webisode and Jackie singing the background would sound absolutely gorgeous. I was just wondering why he did not have Jackie sing background here.
Oh and I noticed the change in the quality of sound from beginning of the song as opposed to starting the middle part of the song. I think the bass and treble was adjusted some....it is more tinsy background drums at the end. But Jason sounded the same....I love this song.
Well I should say I like all the songs. There isn't any that I do not like and live is just 100 times better. He is great live.

I loved your videos Winnie, I am sorry, if I implied differently from my earlier post. You got the view that only you could get - if Jason had a cold, we would all know. And, apparantly, I'm confused on the Kara song. Which one were they working on in Kara's video when the whole Atlantic signing thing broke out? During the concert I recognized it right away and didn't care for it. Relistening to everything I can't remember, because ya know, I'm not there listening to it live. Also, ya'll Sixtimemom's DAUGHTER did my earlier posted video - she had never used my camera before - I was impressed - don't pay attention to the quality - not her fought. Here is "Closer" with the mishap - Jason kept singing during the whole thing. (turn the volume up and hold on to your ears - like we had to) www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEpcYDNxQf0

Darlin....darlin...darlin....I never thought you thought my videos were not good. No....they are not perfect I know that but to get the real experience our dreadsisters have to have every angle, every version and I am just happy that Sixtimemom and the others captured the performances like that. Hugs to you my love....I never would think that.

I don't know who Wrote "Heart of Mine" if it was Kara or not, I did like the song but it was my least favorite, ther eis always going to be a song that I least like. I Loved this Band alot, I liked the Steadies to, but the harmonies with this new band fit better with Jason's voice. I will say that the Steadies had a unique sound to the drumming that had a Reggae Jason Mraz feel to it, especially on "Closer" and a few other songs. This band didn't use those sounds.
Luckily for me although Jackie's mic was not turned up enough, I was close enough to her to actually hear her singing. She has a pretty voice, but it is a soft voice, Poor thing I could tell she couldn't hear herself well, I saw Jason look at her, with a oh crap we can't hear you look. Does anyone have close up video, of the drop the water bottle and take down the dreads at the beginning of CLoser? I want to watch that again close up!!

Fogot to mention that Paris was only glancing at the stage from time to time with his head to the side because of the lights, But when Jackie came out he was paying attention to her!! I'm sure all those teenage boys in the audience took notice. I think she has a bright future

FYI - I got a Stalker award for visiting Rockwall the most times. Can I help it if I really like visiting Dreadheads there? Thanks to Angels & ttfn! And here is my one and only picture of Jason at the Gap (I have a couple of others, but they have Lorraine & jasonluver15 in them and won't post w/o their permission). He was on the phone with, I'm sure, one of ya'll. Amy, did you see the picture of Paris I posted?

Thanks for the mp3's Darlin - I downloaded them all, too!! I love all the videos, all the different angles and sounds, because it gives me many perspectives of the concert. All of you who videoed and took pictures and held up your phones for the cellcast are great for allowing the rest of us to experience the concert, too! Thanks bunches!!

Does anybody have a favorite of the new music? Although I have come to love "Let's Just Fall in Love Again", I just listened to all the concert music over, like all of it but am absolutely in love with It Matters to ME. I think it is beautiful and real pro stuff. Anybody else think there's a big time winner in there? Oh the crowd was really into "Let's Just Fall in Love Again"...so many knew it, were singing along, really lovin it. Out of all the Jason songs I've heard lately..."It Matter's to Me" is the one that keeps popping up out of the blue and I start humming the tune or singing a line or two...I have even woke up humming it a couple times...amazing! It is a very tenderhearted song and soo much like Jason, I think... There is a certain vulnerability to it...and very intimate. I Love "It matters to me"., for all the reasons JB said. I Absolutely love "Thats what I'm here For" It has such a swetness about it without being sappy. I also really like "WAIT." Its catchy The one about "This Heart of mine", i don't like that, really. It starts out nice, but it doesn't really go anywhere. I actually get kind of bored by the end. I honestly still like some of Jasons really old songs best... like Other side and Tonight. i hope he has a chance to record them.

This is a pic ttfn took, that I'm rather fond of; aaawww Terry what a beautiful photo of Jason. Yep the lights made the background reddish and sometimes bluish....it is a typical concert atmosphere. Thanks Darlin for bringing this here.

Ahhh, I remember the red and blue lighting it was soo cool looking! here are a couple in the blue light...but mine are not as close!! This was of some fans in the handicap section...they were so mesmerized with Jason during Hallelujah, but weren't we all! A couple of young fans! Jason has such a calming effect on people when he sings!

Sherry I am so happy you were able to capture some of the fans. It is so nice to see them all get engrossed with Jason. He takes us all on a ride to somewhere in the Jason world. What an experience. I can't wait to see him again.
